Файл hosts - що повинно бути

Системний файл hosts - це текстовий файл, в якому міститься локальна база даних доменних імен та їх IP-адрес. Запит до файлу hosts має більший пріоритет перед зверненням до DNS-серверів. Цим і користуються різні віруси або шкідливі програми, підміняючи його вміст на свої дані.
Де знаходиться файл hosts?
За замовчуванням, системний файл hosts розташований в каталозі C: Windows system32 drivers etc.
Щоб в нього потрапити треба зайти в меню Пуск → виконати або натиснути комбінацію клавіш WIN + R. У вікні Запуск програми вводимо адресу:
C: Windows system32 drivers etc
або
% WinDir% system32 drivers etc
натискаємо кнопку Enter.

Щоб його відкрити - натискаємо на ньому правою кнопкою миші і в меню вибираємо пункт Відкрити за допомогою блокнота
